Born in Frankfurt and now based in Berlin, producer and label owner Yapacc sways the electronic music scene and dancefloors with his live sound  since the early 90s. His interest in music was aroused by his experience  with analogue electronics at a very young age. He wrote and released  his first Maelstrom Recordings EP in 1997 under the Techno duo alias Electrasmus. Following was a track on  Frankfurt's art label Poets Club Recording for their compilation "Inside 2" – alongside Brian Eno, Shantel Funkstoerung, and Apex. 
Henceforth emerged more than 250 releases on 80+ labels such as  Neuton, Perlon, Wir, Brise and Lucidflow, and remixes for Ricardo Villalobos, Italoboyz, Pascal FEOS, 2raumwohnung, and many more. 
Yapacc has impressed many clubs and  their crowds worlwide with his intensive and organic live performances at  venues such as Panorama Bar, Airport, Bar 25/Kater Holzig, Bar Américas (Guadalajara), Bootleg (London), The Bunker (NYC), Closer (Kiev), Fabric, Fuse, Fusion,  Harry Klein (Munich), Harvest Festival (Canada), Love Parade Berlin, Mix Club (Paris), Propaganda (Moscow), Sónar, Studio 80 (Amsterdam), Time Warp, Tresor, U60311 (Frankfurt), Watergate, among many more. 
Furthermore, Yapacc hosts the weekly  event "Chapeau Klack" at various venued in Berlin and runs current projects wih Argenis Brito, Sierra Sam, Katya Ryba and Red Pig Flower. 
Recently, he founded the project "Act X" and the label Pfand with his music partner Hal Wong. Pfand will release vinyl on a regular base for club and  listening pleasure. 
Beside his musical activities he cooperates with Manfred Fricke, creating analog synthesizers and drum machines for his MFB company.
